What's happened to him/her/them? Has he/she/they gone completely mad? Has he forgotten to take his medication? What is he trying to say with those game descriptions? Is he angry with something? 999999999pts in smooncrs? 9999999pts in rayforcj? WTF? What version of mame is he REALLY using to record those inps?
So many questions, so few answers

What is he trying to say with those game descriptions?
That either MacMAME/XMAME recordings should be blocked by AlphaMAME recordings or that AlphaMAME shouldn't be required at all.
He thinks it's unfair that you can beat AlphaMAME recordings if you're on a platform that doesn't have an AlphaMAME version.

Like non-x86 Unix/Linux platforms, BeOS, OS/2, MacOS. Or anyone of the multiple platforms that have a MAME port.

Well, given WRX2 clearly plays on a PC, that inp score should be blocked.
I don't play mame on a mac to get around the alphamame blocking crap....yet that is what is implied by a few around here.
If MARP decides to require alphamame for all then all other platforms are gone from here...
We already don't get to participate in any of these cool MARP tournaments you guys have that do require alphamame to participate.
Please don't take all of MARP away from us as well. I wanted so much to participate in Deca2003 and this new knockout tournament and other Snipercade tourneys but can't without a PC.
Our scores aren't blocked simply because there is no alphamame build for our platforms. When and if there is I'm sure that will be required and macalphamame block regular macmame etc.
I have noticed a few scores though submitted as "omame67" that were just using mame+ that should actually be blocked by alphamame as that isn't on a different platform, but just a different variant of mame.

I've thought quite often of making a build based on MAME Plus. But I won't have the DLL containing the majority of the MAME code, for security. I could produce one statically linked (ie: large-ass exe). but there would have to be a choice to make between console or GUI. I don't want to have to make two more separate. I'd lean towards a console build, so that foriegn multi-byte languages (ie: japanese) can be used on regular Windows versions. They can only used in the GUI under Asian versions of Win9x/ME, or NT/2K/XP. But, the INP captioning ability would be awesome to have.

Defcon=4
Ray Force Japanese version.
Arcadia record = 9,119,400. (I own exactly this video).
Arcadia record (with autofire section)=9,434,600.
I think it is enough reason to prove 9,999,999 is a lie.
but there are few exception.
When think it carefully, it must be a lie after all.
9,999,999 is impossible score.
score must be always devidable by 100.
"They have one liar"
or "MAME has the bug which actual machine does not have."
is the answer. not worth to discuss about this stupid problem.
zeroed out and forget this. PERIOD.
Gaiapolis's 99,999,999 had "A BIT OF TRUTH". but this one does not have anything.
I like funny joke but really hate a stupid lie.
BYE. I want "BETTER JOKE" next time.

Well, I also can confirm the rayforcj inp WRX2 submitted that claims to be played in mac60 was NOT played with macmame. I know from 2 different methods. One I won't even comment on as then WRX2 willknow how to fake that aspect. I can comment on it to Barry or other editors if they want to know the specifics. The other is the fact on playback the game just "tilts" which is common for some games of that game CPU cuz byte order of inputs to the file isn't the same in macmame as in pc mames.
I'm guessing he is just doing that to avoid being blocked by some alphamame score.
This score should be removed or at least corrected to reflect the version of mame actually used to play it. It plays to a score of "zero" cuz the game never actually starts up in mac60 as he reported.
I don't get why WRX2 is suddenly doing this. He has been able to obtain many high scores using alphamame...so not sure exactly why he wants to add some cheater/liar aspect to his reputation by falsely submitting inps.
I doubt if the other "omame67" scores were played with anything but a regular pc-mame after seeing his fake mac60 inp.

It is clear that wrx2 is upset at some of the recent omame recordings of other players. When wrx2 first came to marp, he was given a hard time about not recording in alphamame. He probably feels annoyed that other players are being treated in a different fashion with their non-alphamame recordings. It is my guess that wrx2 is submitting these fake scores as some sort of protest.
I wish wrx2 would use the message board to explain his point of view on the matter. He seems to be quite a good player, and I really like watching his inps.
