Well, I did a lookup at TG in the forums cuz I vaguely remembered a thread about it there.
I found the thread and saw you had participated in it as well.
I would say it's suspect. Why would anyone nowadays playing the game use an old version like mame35?
If it was mame35tgb3 or something for Deca2003 then I could understand using that old version....but regular 35?

I think that QT or Gameboy9 deleted it due to slowdown.I may be wrong here of course. A lot of his scores were deleted back then, and there were people that thought his frogger score was not legit. So it was deleted.

soy German Krol y quiero expresar mi punto de vista en este tema. Yo nací y vivo en Argentina y no hablo muy bien inglés, por eso es que prefiero escribir en español
El inp que acabo de mandar ES EFECTIVAMENTE el mismo que mandé en agosto de 1999, pues no creo que vuelva a anotar semejante score nuevamente por mas que lo intente una y mil veces y además no tengo las ganas ni el tiempo suficiente para volver a hacerlo. Lo que me llevó a publicarlo nuevamente es la indignación y sorpresa que me causó el ver que lo habian borrado anteriormente, y no se porque.
Si revisan los registros del sitio MARP, solia ser un participante asiduo por aquellos tiempos y hasta llegué a estar número 1 en el ranking. El trabajo y mis obligaciones hicieron que, lamentablemente no tenga el tiempo libre suficiente como para seguir participando de la manera que me gustaría, ya que uno nunca deja de gustarle estas cosas, ni siquiera he mandado un nuevo inp en años, pero dejenme aclararles algo:
Este INP es PERFECTAMENTE VALIDO, fue realizado SIN NINGUN TIPO DE TRUCOS, ni slowdown , ni Moslo, ni nada que se parezca, EL Frogger siempre fue uno de mis juegos favoritos, que jugué desde pequeño y me llevó mas de un mes de continua prática para lograr la tecnica necesaria en conseguir lo que conseguí ese dia; en realidad fue toda una noche (algo asi como 8 hs creo yo) y solo utilicé la pausa para deascontracturar las manos un par de veces, aunque claramente se ve que no se consigue ventaja alguna utilizandola sino que por el contrario se pierde ritmo. Ahora veo que tambien está prohibida la pausa en algunos juegos... en fin. Ya estoy viejo y desactualizado para competir en el alto nivel pero NO ACEPTO de ninguna manera que duden de la legitimidad de esa grabación. Recuerdo perfectamente que los FPS eran de 60/60 y quién tenga la valentía de cuestionarlo, simplemente que pruebe lo contrario, aunque me gustaría mas que vengan a mi casa y me vean jugar para demostrarles que realmente hice ese score. Simplemente aquella noche estuve inspirado y superé cualquier expectativa, incluso mia. Es tan duro de aceptar??
Estoy muy dolido porque nuevamente me lo han baneado Y SIN MOTIVO alguno, es mi primer y unico record mundial, es un orgullo para mi el poder decirlo y el haberlo logrado. Me hubiera gustado mucho que se reconozca en este sitio y que figure primero en los records del frogger, nada mas ni nada menos, con todos lo honores, como debería ser... pero parece que es inaceptable para alguna gente que se logre semejante score en formar limpia.... bueno, yo lo he hecho, lo he logrado, y saben que? con eso me alcanza, ya no me importa si lo corrigen o no, yo se muy bien que lo he logrado.
Lo que si me gustaría, no se quien de Uds. lo mencónó es mandarlo a los Twin Galaxies Records, eso si me gustaría; no lo he hecho simplemente porque no se como hacerlo y porque "mi orgullo", "mi diversión" era ser parte del MARP, mas que de cualquier otra comunidad.
Si volviendo a mandar mi INP he generado esta discución, en la que se me ha dejado de lado y vuelto a expulsar sin siquiera consultarme primero, entonces, pido disculpas. Retiren mi INP y olvidenlo.

if (i intepret the translation correctly and) he did use pause for whatever reason, this is indeed the reason why we block: Because old mame recordings can use pause, and in alphamame you can't use pause. I don't think anyone doubts you did that inp, German, it's a great achievement! But it was done not in a true arcade style of play. I'm affraid non-english speakers will have a tough time realizing the benefits of alphamame. There is an argument that hasn't been brought up, this is a recording recorded before 3-3-3 but uploaded after, should it be grandfathered (protected from blocking) or not? It's hard to say if a recording was recorded before 3-3-3, since anyone can forge the timestamp, but this was submited to a contest before then so it's pretty much proved to be recorded after 3-3-3, though the rule states "uploaded after 3-3-3".
