king of fighters 99 and king of fighters 2000 scoring

The scoring systems are bunk for these games, because the score can actually go down when you progress to the next match and it doesn't give extra points for finishing bosses off (as exemplified in hunter-killer's recording). The "original" scoring system ranges from 0-1000 based upon a hidden (althogh proly documented somewhere) computed skill level. And goes up or down after each match.
We could convert it to marp "traditional" figher scoring, where you add 10 for each round won minus 1 for each round loss. But i think we should keep the "original" points in there somewhere.
I like the third option because this keeps a score from an excellent match in the mix, wheras if you screw up in a later match your good score might get lost.
