Submitting alphamame32 inp's ?

I have been using Alphamame32 0.63 so that I can warm up for T6.
But I just recorded a good Hi in a game that isn't in T6. So I went to the submit link and started to fill in the page for my first upload. Then I noticed there is no alphamame32 0.63 to choose from in the dropdown. If I select the alphaMAME 0.63 (TG) will that work ? or is my inp useless as the mame version I used is not listed ?

The INP should work, as Alphamame63 and Alphamame32 63 should be the same.

Just include in the comment for your submission exactly what alphamame you used in case for whatever reason it's not compatible with the non-32 versions.

MAME32 = MAME with a GUI. There is, as far as I can tell, no code difference between the two. One has a GUI, one does not.

hey rat, nice score, and remember you can make links directly to marp this way (right click on the marp page where the shortname is underlined to copy the url) instead of saying just the gamename, paste this.
http://marp.retrogames.com/index.cgi?mo ... 00&tourn=0
then everyone can see easily what you are pointing at.

Round 26 Alphamame32 0.63
Just because "there are no dips" does not mean it must be TG settings.
There are dips, you press F2 to get to them. And, some TG settings involve things that aren't choosable in some games in the dips, like "5 lives only" in some games, in which you just die after you lose your 5th life since there is no setting for "5 lives only".

I can“t playback your recording without using default Nvram, did you remember to delete the ncram dir b4 you recorded?

Thanks for all the help folks

bugger I didn't delete my nvram, what a marp noob, I hope my score can still be confirmed. I might have a bash at beating the score and submitting a proper INP.
JoeyL21988 thanks for that info, I didn't know that some game dips were accessed through F2. I have edited my submission notes.

I have read up on how to get rid of my nvram folder by creating a nvram.txt file without the extension in the mame dir.
But do I really need to do the same for my cfg folder ? if i don't have a cfg folder i have to redo my joystick settings every game.
I'm going to see if I can beat my Hi now without nvram (but with cfg) I hope this will playback ok for people
I'm getting there, once I have this game sorted and confirmed I can start to work my way up the leaderboard. Lookout for Rat

I have deleted my first INP and submitted another without nvram. Could someone please test this INP to see if it works ?

My new score is a bit lower, but that will do till someone beats it
