Well, I'm sure some of you who have watched destructor or sikraiken's recordings have been able to deduce something - the game is patterned.
In all honesty, we (the coordinators) noticed this problem during initial testing of the game. However, it was thought that only Level 1 was patterned, the pieces were not falling in the same order on later levels. So we decided to allow it since patterning the first level wouldn't be THAT major in the long run.
But, both des and sik figured out how to keep the pattern of the pieces consistent - don't push Down. Yes, it was the speeding up of the falling blocks that caused the patterns to change, and we didn't catch that.
So yeah, this game really was not the best of choices for a puzzle game, and we apologize for that. In a way I'm sort of glad that more people did not pick up on the patterns, as otherwise we had a lot of close scores this round. Metrackle's pattern-free all clear was an amazing performance, and Abbe got pretty close too (Level 26).
Congrats to the top 24, the final elimination round will begin tomorrow.

while it's likely there won't be any HUGE changes in the final overall seeding after the next round, it is of course always possible that players currently in the high seeds might not even make the final cutoff.
and ties will end up being broken by the qualifying score, which hasn't been accounted for in this list.
