23274300, wolf 101.

And now time for question to BBH. Because I don't have good roms for your inp from MARP -> where is secret to made 38mln? Leeching spot?
I finished game on Level 8 too but score still in range 24mln.

Please change in score table Kazcor to Kaczor.

Another small improvement, but it has one of the most retarded deaths ever captured in a MARP recording.

19,988,100 - Small improvement. Made total mess of the last stage and died pitifully to the final boss.

There's no perfect leeching spot on any level. You have to make the most out of every level and find the best spots to stall to bring more enemies out though. If you stand in the wrong spot or advance the screen when enemies are still on screen, fewer enemies may come out, etc. I never really put together a guide of the best areas to stall in when I was getting 36-37 million, and my sample poor junk recording in this thread obviously skipped a lot of stuff.

edit: oh, and you need to do as many multiple shot into close-range combo kills as possible, since that's worth more points.

okay, two things:

ZB: I'm sorry, but your recording still averaged 94.85%, below the 95% mark. I know it's unfortunate to be stuck with a slow computer, but if you got through this round there's always a chance you might not have been able to meet the speed requirement in one of the other rounds. Really sorry we can't allow it. :(

wuzel: again you recorded with a memcard file present. You need to delete memcard.000 from the directory, or set the memcard directory to NUL so that it ignores it completely. It's a recent bug that popped up in MAME. We'll have to use the 507,000 that your original recording played back to since the second recording did not get as high a score without a memcard file present. (but thanks for including the .wlf file this time, heh)

no problems with anyone else's recordings, so here are the final results of the qualifier:

42 players! Is really necessary 2 "Elimitation" rounds? Or only 1 will be ok? IMO the head-to-head may start after the 1st Elimination Round, with 32 players.
