Knockout Coordinator
These are the candidates for Knockout Coordinator

GHEMANT/GEMANT@AIVA
Marco Marocco
Metrackle
RAX
Zhorik/gastrainga

Regulation Coordinator
BBH is the only candidate for Regulation Coordinator

WCC Coordinator
NotMan is the only candidate for WCC Coordinator

Tournament Coordinator, Olympiad Coordinator, Time Trial Coordinator
There were no nominations for these positions. I will continue to allow nominatons for these positions until November 30, 23:59 GMT. Any nominations must also be accepted by this deadline. After that the positions will be left vacant for 2008 unless somebody decides they want to initiate them during the year. If they do, and they can demonstrate sufficient interest in a competition run by them (10 or more interested players), they can assume the position.

I am both the Election Coordinator and a candidate for Knockout Coordinator. While the rules for Election Coordinator do not prohibit this, I have talked with mahlemiut, and he has agreed to count the votes for Knockout Coodinator. I will provide additional details on this when I post a thread announcing voting for the elections.

well, given this...I guess I stay at a declined status for the KO nomination.

maybe next year we won't do part of the election process on a holiday week!

I know these deadlines were set and clearly shown by George....but the holiday was stuck in between.

I was accepting that nomination on time in my mind but contigent on understanding exactly what the reg coordinator position is. I guess I should have explicitly stated that.

we should have more time from close of nominations to acceptance to allow for discussion and questions like I had to be answered. with the holiday...there wasn't enough time to allow for that.

I appreciated getting nominated....
maybe next year...
