Nobody pestered Plscores. Somebody started a thread about them. They found out that teams aren't allowed and that was it.

Perhaps diabolik could mention it in a description. That seem to get good results from them.

diabolik: "Oh, by the way WRX2, teams aren't allowed at MARP."

WRX2: "Oh thank you, thank you. You are a jolly good fellow. Further investigation does indicate an undesirablity with our multiple membership. :("

The problem is it's rare for someone from WRX2 to even view the forums.

I bet most don't know enough english to bother reading the forums. It might also be why only a couple do most of the uploads...versus a couple actually being the ones that set most of those scores.

That's another reason why it would be nice if they used separate accounts. A couple players from them might be the ones for most of those games which would be impressive versus if really just a few from each player.

Plus, you then might get to know one or more of them...versus WRX2 being some uncommunicative, untouchable entity.

Why I was suggesting that diabolik do it in an upload description. They responded to his last one.

And of course I suspect that Mr. Guidi is some sort of representative from the WRX2 league.

Very funny.

Have you guys tried sending PM to WRX2? I don't know if he reads the forums, but the guy who registered to forum as WRX2 reads and answers his PM.

I don't like very much the leadership board.
I think a national team leadership board will be better.
Why not ?

Oh. No. On leaderboard you can see who is the best (BBH now), how much has first places, second places ....

plus, teams could always be added.

You have the individual account with an option to affiliate yourself with a team. Then there could be a separate team leaderboard that totals up the points from all members affiliated with that team name in their individual account preferences.

This way, you get it all.

As it stands now scores from "WRX2" are totally unknown except that they are from WRX2. It would be nice to know who within the group actually achieved each score. You could always total up the points from each person to redetermine the total WRX2 points.

LN2 - That idea had crossed my mind, also. However, due to being rather new here, I didn't feel up to saying anything about it yet.

It also opens the door up to team tournaments and challenges and the like.

I would be in favor of this change - and it might encourage any "secret" teams under one account to come clean, so they can qualify for the team leaderboard.

There are currently three illegal teams:

WRX2 (read above)

Donut (Donut and his wife)

Tombstones (Romulous and his brother The Elder)

My secret clones have already formed a team. :)

seriously though, what do you people want done about WRX2? I mean, I know it's unfortunate that they're not listening to requests for each player to upload under their own account. So then what? Delete all their recordings/account? They're just going to upload them again. If there's anything the past has taught us, it's that they're persistent. ("WHY TO CONTINUE TO USE ALPHAMAME? WHY TO CONTINUE TO USE ALPHAMAME?")

What is to stop them from making another account and uploading all those scores again? It'd be difficult to IP ban entirely since who knows how many there are.

But let's think about things - how can you be 100% sure that every recording on MARP was recorded by that person, and not by someone else? You have no way of knowing who's really behind the computer when they start recording. How do you prove that someone else was the one playing?

I think some people just get a little too caught up worrying about the competitive aspect of MARP.
