Another point we don't discuss :
What will determine the positions : Score only or stage reached and score ?
Ex : arkanoid
- Sawys : round 5 reached with 90.000 pts
- Marco : round 4 reached with 100.000 pts
If score only so :
Marco is in 1st position and Sawys in 2nd
If stage reached and score so :
Sawys is in 1st position and Marco in 2nd

the first; on contrary you can nominate a game in which you haven't MARP's score but other members of the team have.
The spirit of the contests is to play games in which the players don't know the results ot the other

I finally read again your answer and i wondering if i understand well.
I take an example :
Zarouk has 2nd place at flipshot and I don't have a score at this game.

So Zarouk can't propose flipshot.
But can i propose it or not ?

If answer is yes so strategy will be in favour of proposing games where members of our team have 1st positions. Even if the player itself can't propose it.

Sorry if i ask so much but i want to be sure.

Sorry Sawys, but Ghemant made a mistake ... (sometimes can happen also to the best).
Every player can't nominate a game in which he has got one of the first three places in MARP, but this rule is good also for the others members of team.

Two examples: Sawys has 1st Marp's position in Super Hang on.
He can't nominate this game but also Wonder and the other ,members can't.

Ghemant has 1st position in Aliens.
Marocco, Davil, Sampras and Newaborigeno can't nominate Aliens.

This rule exists to avoid a massive team's strategy and to let the hope for all the players to get the first place for every game of the contest.

I agree with the score system you and Davil have written about.

p.s.: Phil Lamat ? Wow, but Phil don't nominate Majhong ...

Marco is correct. What I can say. France and Italy have 5 players each:

France Team:
- FRpl1
- FRpl2
- FRpl3
- FRpl4
- FRpl5

Italy Team:
- ITpl1
- ITpl2
- ITpl3
- ITpl4
- ITpl5

Example for France (GHEMANT proposition):
FRpl1 choose best game for FRpl2
FRpl2 choose best game for FRpl3
FRpl3 choose best game for FRpl4
FRpl4 choose best game for FRpl5
FRpl5 choose best game for FRpl1

It have no sense. It is almost identical how:
FRpl1 choose best game for FRpl1
FRpl2 choose best game for FRpl2
FRpl3 choose best game for FRpl3
FRpl4 choose best game for FRpl4
FRpl5 choose best game for FRpl5

I have for you other proposition

France Team must choose game where some Italy player have 1st and none of France players have 1st, 2nd or 3rd in this game.
Ex.
ITpl1 (or ITpl2 or ITpl3 or ITpl4 or ITpl5) have 1st in Aliens
France players don't have 1st, 2nd or 3rd on Aliens.
France Team can choose this game.

ITpl1 (or ITpl2 or ITpl3 or ITpl4 or ITpl5) have 1st in Donpachi
FRpl1 (or FRpl2 or FRpl3 or FRpl4 or FRpl5) have for example 2nd place on Donpachi
France Team can' choose this game because one from they have 2nd place on Donpachi.

Otherwise Italy Team must choose game where some France player have 1st and none of Italy players have 1st, 2nd or 3rd in this game.

Short:
France Team must choose best games for Italy Team and viceversa.

PS. Italy Team and France Team before tournament can prepare list 20 games (each team 20 games) and players will choose game from these lists only. It eliminate situation where Teams will choose games from 1st but with poor scores.

Instead, if one of your team want choose I game we have good marp score and make a suicide, he can!
I think this is a very good method of game choice!
