In my opinion mapping the same key (Keyboard) / button (Joystick) to shoot straight and down at the same time in Scramble is cheating. If we allow this, no one can stop someone from doing that in Scramble.

I have nothing against players mapping the movement as they like it. Sometimes in platform games I change the button that must be pressed for jumping or climbing up to UP on the Joystick. That I think is okay, but mapping the same key to do two different function at the same time is not okay.

If final vote will be 'yes' then maybe we made controller where you can mapping buttons not in MAME setup? We will can mapping buttons inside stick. And it will be impossible to check, because we use some electronics for hide mapping.
If someone want to cheat then he made it. Simple.
You want only made MARP harder for honest players.

I don't go to a gaming clan and try to get everyone vote as I do.
If you don't see that group voting is not right, then I can not help you.

Example:
We have a poll about autofire. A Japanese(no offense) gaming clan votes that it's ok, others think 75-25 it's not ok. Autofire gets added. What other marpers should think...Rest of the world.

I have no personal interest for fighting games.

What group voting? Then maybe only one vote for country? Each player has personal opinion (ex. haynor voted for yes).

What are you talking about? I haven't said anything like that. I just said that group voting is wrong. If it's true what you said (no group voting happened) then I don't have any problems.
