Just my opinion.
I totally agree with you. It's not fair at all. In the case of pattern games, it's possible to tell in this board what score is made without post the inp. So, the adversary can't see the patterns but know how he must make for beat the score.

My 2 cents

For the record in case it wasn't clear above I agreed with this as well. That's different than submitting the score/inp to MARP though where it's then public domain to download and view the patterns.

No way I would allow my inps in a contest like this to be publicly available for viewing during the contest. I would give my rough scores in a forum though....but then again am I giving a real score or goal score? hmmm. hehe...that's part of the game too! :P hehe

You're right wuzel. If both players put in their maximum efforts the better player will win.

wuzel, yeah I was thinking when I saw pacmania was being used that the top score for it would be around 400k.

I'll have to get back into that game sometime soon. I had played it some last summer and had gotten up in the 400-450k range.

Like I said before... I have never ever said that anyone has done anything illegal/bad [insert more bad words here] in this tourney.
Nothing is pointed out to any of my fellow marpers in this tourney.

It is just my personal opinion that people that are holding back scores and recordings in a tourney are nothing more than cowards. I don´t care if it is a pattern game or not. You can learn from others as much as they can from you.

My opinion, period.

Note:People does not need to have the same opinion as me.

I couldn't agree with you more.

Doesn't make for a very interesting competition if you have two people just waiting til the last day to upload something in the last hour.

I do believe Wuzel since he had uploaded a few scores before his last game...

Sniping people at the last minute, QRS. I don't plan on doing that. But if we want to state scores in here, I'd be willing. INPs, ehh. :P
