I agree with BBH & Ghemant : characters are banned only if there is a blatant bug (like we did for pzlbowl, but this is a very special case)
Janne had death combos involving her slide, as I recall, but they worked through knockdown and dizzy instead of the insta kill of brocken. the sliding allowed her to get more hits with her sword then intended in a row, allowing her to take out over 50% of health with one combo, and adding in a projectile as well.
the later release without the insta kill combo was better balanced, but rarely found on location
