MAMEUI is old and so outdated, it's not funny. There is no reason that you can't download QMC2 and use that as a frontend. http://qmc2.arcadehits.net/wordpress/

ok, i got it to work in 147 at last.
i cannot for the life of me get 141 to work. i do the same as for 147 and it does not work. same as mess and qmvc, Barry, i cannot set up the ini file. i will give it another shot, as i want to play other formats also.
ketsui is mental, seems like the whole screen is filled up with numbers, boxes and bullets constantly!!!

For most setups, setting the rompath is usually the only necessary setting to get MAME to work. To create mame.ini, run 'mame -cc' on the commandline (without quotes), then edit it in the text editor of your choice (Notepad will do).

The rules of the tournament say 'It's mandatory to use 0.106 or 0.141 version of mame'.
