I just played Pat's replay 4 times consecutively: 636k, 5m2, 636k, 2m8. It seems quite random.
Added: Oh boy, my own latest demo does the same thing. This is a problem. (as Notman said)

cli command: -bios 5
gui command: click on properties then go to Misc to change bios setting from Europe MVS (2) to Japan MVS (3)
or there is possibly that you may be missing neogeo.zip (bios file)

If Chase HQ inp replay is problematic in some cases, I recommend we switch Magical Drop 3 for another game. Will likely fix things. I know what I said.

I had no playback issues playing back last 4 chasehq inps
I randomly skipped with F10, changed fskipping, opened some other applications like emule or excel and all inps played back to advertised scores on my pc (amd 1.8ghz 512m nvidia Gforce 6600 [yeah I know it sucks...])

Sorry, we hadn't playback issues during the test of Chase HQ before starting
So, STOP PLAYING Chase
In the next days we'll see if it's necessary to give you 1-2 days more for this round

sorry guys... I had tested Chase H.Q many times but I haven't seen playback problem.... sorry for this mistake.
today (in 21.00 GMT) Chase H.Q will be replaced with other game.

Interesting how Aaron Pieper did first 1mln on first three stages in magdrop.
