Sorry I meant to say simple instead of easy. Having to enter XYZ initials is a simple solution to the problem, while asking for a password seems more complicated (you must use a modified MAME in the first place).
The best solution would be one that is easy to use, is simple to implement and is hard to cheat. We should choose the solution that better meets those requirements, right?
