Some info for players:

40k =~ 4min 45sec =~ 1Wave
100k =~ 11min 53sec
200k =~ 23min 45sec =~ finish first 5 Waves
500k =~ 59min 23 sec
1mln =~ 1h 58min 45sec

Good luck. :D

1 question more. From which moment is counted 30 seconds on secon half-stage:
a) immediatelly after end first half-stage
b) take instrument
c) take "joy control" over hero
:?:

I would start counting at the player's first movement or shot.

c) I guess that would be.

Also, note well all: It has been demonstrated to me that the Steve Perry stage gets difficult enough in later loops that a player may have legitimate difficulty finishing in 30 seconds. I have never seen leeching on this stage, so I may show some leniency on this stage as long as the player is earnestly trying to complete it.

Oh. Thanks. If you take wrong way on this stage then time for finish this stage (first half and second sometimes too) can be longer than 30 seconds.

Thanks! There's still a few hours left though.

8 hours 38 minutes. While I was playing I kept thinking "some bastard is gonna play for 5 more minutes than I have and win" so I had to keep playing.

Btw, if someone submits a better score in the next few hours I might have to kill him. :)

What's a little more amusing is that the top three submitted their scores on the last day.

Come on guys, this isn't poker! :)

(yes, i'm kidding.)

Perhaps I should have realized from the TG record 10 million, but my own play never would have proved that this was marathonable. I started to suspect when I saw some preliminary inps. If I had known from the start, I might have chosen a different game or settings. I hate to see anyone have to play a game for 8 hours.

On the other hand, it is very gratifying to see that people are being inspired to submit some really outstanding recorded performance to MARP because of this. It was sort of the whole point.

Please don't choose marathonable games Weehawk. This is very boring. Score depend only from free time, not from skills.
