K, this is merely my opinion and I am NOT intending a flamewar with this... but.. lesse... hmmm Alphamame got... now what was it kids? HACKED! Gives ya something to ponder on.

Can someone refresh to me if Alphamame showed recorded speed? If not, I suggest we start enforcing WolfMame Plus usage [Not like it'd be hard, since most of our fine family here at Marp DO use it, and special thanks to you Barry for making it possible.]

Also... someone feel adventerous and care to download a batch of the questioned inp's and check the date they were created? Perhaps the date and time could show some proof that perhaps there is more then 1 person at work.

I dunno... I mean.. cool... craploads of 1st place ownage... but... still... that kind of hoarding, if it IS legit, or even if not... that's just sickening.. I honestly smell something up here.. but.. if this is all proven to be 100% legit, I will be most happy to offer a sincere apology for my doubt and quite cheerfully eat some humble pie.

Kelly, there is no doubt that WRX2 is a team...not 1 person.

That was figured out a few months ago.

You can even tell it from the few forum posts from "WRX2" to a degree...cuz a couple have a different style and attitude in the post. Plus something told to WRX2 in the past seemed to not be known by someone else posting as WRX2.

It's clear some don't know hardly any english while others do.

Also, when wRX2 first started out at MARP, several different versions of MAME would be used for various uploads with no pattern of which version was used. This was the big sign it was more than 1 person. 1 person would generally be using the latest version if the games ran ok in it.

I remember a stretch where the last 14 uploads of WRX2 were using 12 different versions of MAME. No 1 person would switch between that many different versions of MAME like that.

I forget what cliched it a few months ago. I think Novice or someone confirmed that WRX2 was a large group of people.

You can find that old thread on it. It had WRX2 in the thread name I think.

Unzipped these files you can see the RECORDING DATE,TIME,SIZE of the inps.

BBH on (23 JUL 03 - 11 SEP 03), On fifty days he played 55 games!
42 firsts, 10 seconds, 4 thirds, and 1 fourth

WRX2 on (11 SEP 03 - 29 OCT 03), On fifty days he played 59 games!
48 firsts, 4 seconds, 6 thirds, and 1 fourth

They seems to be quite a very good player, and I really like watching them inps.

Thanks "Cicola Guidi" for that info, that actually points twards wrx2 NOT being a team that the inps are recorded so synchronously. wrx2 has done mass uploads before for moon cresta inps but during that period there were different mame versions, this time they are all the same (another point for less than a lot of people being wrx2). Button slapping signatures look man made on the ones i've looked at. So if he's not hacking they are all good inps.

BBH is a "team", but he is a "one man team". That is the difference
