Ok I tried it. The top half of the cactus simply vanishes imediately as soon as you try to push it (from the right of course). Gaz.MJS wrote:Try to push it and see what happens!

The object which has something hidden depends on the result of the second digit of the score % 4 (% being the remainder after division). So:
If the score ends with 10, 50 or 90 you will have to push "object 1".
If the score ends with 20, or 60 you will have to push "object 2".
If the score ends with 30, or 70 you will have to push "object 3".
If the score ends with 00, 40 or 80 you will have to push "object 4".
But you have to find out which is object 1, 2, 3 and 4 for each round. Object 2 is always after object 1, obj3 is always after obj2 and obj4 is always after obj3 but they are not always consecutive.
For example in the first round of trip 5 (round 17) the objects that hide the helmet are only the cactis. There are 3 of them at the beginning and 1 near the end of the round. The interesting thing is that you won't be able to get the helmet if your score ends with 20 or 60 (when the stage starts) because you will have to push object 2 which is the cacti above the other cacti (object 1). Try to push it and see what happens!
PS: Thanks again Hisa this will definitely improve my scores!
PS2: Don't be so hard on LN2... yes he was wrong, but we all make mistakes.
I think it's time that MARP forum moderators warn then ban anyone for a couple weeks that can't refrain from using extremely vulgar and offensive language. This goes beyond all the other abuse he does here.Novice wrote:D=1
Still some fuckers stalk me.and still upload worthless their comment.
I doubt that they have enough quality of brain to enjoy games.
Perhaps MARP Rule 1. needs to be changed then:Mahlemuit wrote:Now I really don't want to have to start using the censoring functions of the forum. People should be able to say what they want within reason.
...is perfectly valid. The new thing you have introduced is that sometimes two objects can refer to the same object. For example in round 3 (set 2): object1 is the first cacti and object2 is the second cacti and given there are no more cactis, object3 is again the first cacti and object4 is again the second cacti (object3 = object1 & object4 = object2).The object which has something hidden depends on the result of the second digit of the score % 4 (% being the remainder after division).
Thanks!MJS wrote:Thanks for the list Novice.
I will help you to complete and improve it.
First we must say which version of Pac-Land the list is valid for, because I have noticed some differences. For example the invincibily of round 3 is present in set 2 (pacland2) but not in set 1 (pacland).
There is so much that I'd like to know on a number of games. The Gamest and Arcadia records on many games just leave me wondering how on earth those scores are even possible. 4 million on Twinkle Star Sprites - 46 million on Waku Waku 7, using Arina - 40 million+ on Fatal Fury 2... Although I understand the scoring system for Waku Waku 7 quite well, I can't think of any way possible using Arina to score that much. I would assume it has something to do with large combos, but don't know of any of her moves that could do that. Best I've come up with is a 99 powers first attack using Dandy-J, worth over 500k. Which I've never managed to pull off more than twice in a game.Novice wrote:to tell the truth, I like to trade knowledge rather than seeing worthless stupid's comment.
Yes there are a lot of differences between sets.Novice wrote:REALLY???
does set 1 has different pattern???
Thanks!
to tell the truth, it is the first time I get the info what I did not know yet. (at marp)![]()
set 2 version is exactly same as Japanese one.(i do not know detail, but many top players agreed it)
and now, I understand why 2ch member said that "other versions are not playable."
it is no woner why masa does not upload other versions relay now.
Mmmh thanks for the tip but... I just don't like it. I pay a lot of attention to the score but commiting suicide is too much. Besides anyone who can finish the first 8 trips will easily pass trip 9, 10 and maybe 11 as they are the same as trip 5, 6 and 7. That should give you enough points.Novice wrote:P.S.
do you really want to see my replay??
how to get 1M easily.
apples of round 8 is 500 points higher than other rounds.(same as melon)
so..."GET ALL APPLES AT ROUND 32 AND SUICIDE."
If you do it 5 times,(1500+2000+2500+3000)x9x5=405,000 pts
and walking worth ... you can get 500K points at here.
I am not a super player. (as you know)
only know "how to play the game."
