Then I must say opposite opinion.
there are some games which has 3 or 4 same romset,to ban a new trick
makes very boring race. even if 40+% of people agree this tecnique,
all 3 record will turn to void.
only 60% can reject all 3 plays.
it seemed unfair also.
I think ....
To ban the trick completely require 75% of "ban"voter and all 7 editors admit is as unfair. (completely unfair will reject.not relate difficulty)
ban the trick except 1 original version require 66% of voters vote to ban.
and accept the trick,when "admit" get 34% of voter.

I agree, it can be interresting to have a set (not the parent one) where a trick is accepted.

if you continue game,you will get 80 seconds.
this screen says you crush 2 [+3 blocks] and 2 [-3 block].
you just continue and continue, rolling the screen faster. and penetrate there in lucky.not more than it.

your "trick" must be not using the trick "already ban".
continue is not good idea.you should show your original trick.

Where have you see I made an inp ? I just send a snapshot where I success to make your trick. It's whats you ask since many days. You would like we try to make the trick by ourself. I made the trick by myself, it's my only goal. Not to beat your score or post an inp but for apreciate the legality of the trick.

Yes I use continue (2 continues) for try to make it once and dont spent time by escape the game. Where is the problem ? You want we are all like you ? I spend my time for make what you ask. And what is your answer now : your trick is not a trick because you have continue. You are despair. And if I have (by miracle I admet it) beat your score in one credit and with finishing the game, I guess you'll find another word for depreciate it. But I never try to offer you this chance.

The base for the idea was USA constitution law or something like that
It should have been Finland!

France uses also 2/3 vote for changing constitution and 50/50 vote for law that have no impact on current constitution.
It can be sumed up by 2/3 vote for huge evolution in laws and 50/50 for minor evolution.

The original intent of this rule is to disallow the use of the MAME Cheat Menu and any type of hack into the MAME emulator. It is a general rule and doesn't mention specific games or techniques. There is no suggestion here that tricks and cheating are the same. If anything, it could be inferred that obvious cheats outside of using cheat.dat are unacceptable.

Forgive me if I've taken you out of context PL, but from day one the only inferrence I made from rule 2c was to the inbuilt Cheats using cheat.dat accessible from the Tab menu within MAME. Cheats outside this are possibly inferred from rule 1c instead, "Be honest in your scoring and recording techniques".

If something is do-able in MAME that is not do-able on the orginal arcade machine, hard cheese. A possible solution is to ban that game from MARP until a fix is found in MAME itself otherwise you have to allow it IMO. I have a similar view for romsets, if there is a bug in a romset like some 255 lives trick then simply ban that romset from MARP or '*' it like the bowling games.

Once you start making contrived rules for games you will get arguments like this and it is not nice being forced to play your favourite games in a different way to the way you once played them in the arcades. You might be the best playing under no rules but somebody else might be the best playing under their rules, the man with the biggest roar in the forum wins.

I do not know who is the man you mentioned about.
I am not man biggest roar.

Just introduce many facts. "roar" is suitable word for who only say one's
opinion and do not(can not) supply any fact.

and Gaz, That trick is playable at actual machine.
to change controller is to make it easy.not impossible to possible.
In fact, my best time of stage 6 is 0.7 seconds.
It is good/not is another discussion.
LoadGaz's short cut is very cool.
