How could a player be serious if he uses other hand than his strong one to control his game :?:
How can u believe that the fire button is the most important button :?: Any1 can hit this button, your grandpa or a small 4-years-old kid.

Simple things to all but seems u r quite strange people 8O

Ok in fact I can excuse u... because u cannot hit very fast the fire, u choose to hit it with your good-right hand  I have not such problem.

But I repeat, if u can find some1 right-handed who can make a big score with the stick at left, plz inform me.
Because only small scores can be achieved by left stick.

What mean "too high"?

You can't say me how I should play. If for you better for use stick is right hand then ok, play using right hand, but for me better is left hand and I will never change it.
Did you look to these sites with arcade parts? All control panels have stick on left side. You should write to all manufacturers that they are wrong and should stop production :D

Too high means too high in its position on the desk.

All these panels r for left-handed people.

If u want play with your weak hand its your right. I wont force u, just comment  Go on, use your strong hand for the fire-need special abilities to hit that button e  )

For me it is good. If you don't try it you will never know why it is good. I don't want to write 1000 words why especially that my english is weak.
I can say you that I can place on this AS plate with dinner during play :D

... or perhaps the joke is to have to use your strong hand because your week hand is so weak it can't do anything except push a fire button. Here's a thought for you, use your good right hand and beat my 1 life Juno First score (711,220) at the TG site:

http://www.twingalaxies.com/index.aspx?c=22&sid=87299

Since you think I'm a joke using my left hand for moving, this should be very easy score for you to beat with your so called correct use of the right hand for moving!!!!!!!

Says who..... one person against almost every other person who has bothered to reply to this post?! Perhaps you should listen to the majority, pull your head in and stop being so arrogant.

Wow. Just wow, man. You are a very arrogant person, again you need to consider the fact that the world is a big place, and that not everyone plays in the same manner as you.

I don't know what arcade cabinets looked like when they were in Greece, but I can say this much about "standard" US cabinets - unless it's a really old game, you will ALWAYS see the joystick on the left, buttons on the right. A lot of games around the early-to-mid 80's had the joystick in the center, and buttons on both sides to accomodate either type of player. But when games started adding support for more players, space became a concern so they went with only putting buttons on the right side, as that is how THE VAST MAJORITY OF PEOPLE WERE PLAYING. There are very few games that were designed solely with the joystick on the right side and buttons on the left (Gauntlet is the only one I can think of at the moment).

You say you can play a game with only a fire button by using your less-dominant left hand to fire. That's great. Now what about something like, say, any game in the Street Fighter series? When you have 6 buttons to worry about, your hand needs to be as strong as possible in finding the right button quickly. If it doesn't feel natural enough, it's going to hold you back. (on a side note - I actually do know someone in person who plays fighting games cross-handed, with his right hand on the joystick and left on the buttons. And he's pretty good too! If that playing method works for him, that's great. I can't play at the same level with my hands crossed like that, but if it works for him, then why not?)

It's like TJT said. Dual-joystick games like Robotron, Smash TV, Total Carnage, etc are all set up so that the joystick on the left moves, the joystick on the right fires. That's just the way it is.

If you think I'm not a serious player because I use the joystick with my left hand and that I can't make any serious scores... well, I humbly ask you to beat my Shock Troopers and Total Carnage scores. Let me know when they're beaten!

The romset was different at the time those recordings were made. Sorry to say that the only way to play it back now is to find the older romset that it was recorded with.

You really think you would be able to beat my score? How much have you played the game?
