Saulonpb's "desertbrjd" was made with 84% speed.
Playing this game in low speed its really easier...

I was looking his scores, he has a first place in "spacewin" but inp is not playable and Phil writes "doesn't playback".
Why not zero too?

In case someone else can get it to playback. Generally, it will be zeroed if three people cannot play it back. A few games can be finicky about playback, although it is much less of an issue as it used to be.

So we need another one person.
Can someone do it?
Meanwhile I read this thread, looks like Saulonpb has a great cheating past
Last two days he is working my scores and took about 33 first places so far, I examined most of them and found no tricks, exept the "deserts" I mentioned above.

It could be one of those that allows you to program macros (to execute moves more easily), as well as autofire..
Are there any keyboards or software which allow macros INSIDE mame?

I just checked "otenamih", there is a first place score of 1, suppose saulonpb won 1 mini game, buy he lost it.
What now, do we need another 2 confirms for a zero?

Will you put a brake to saulonpb?
He uploaded a score from a freezed game(atombjt) and a crazy score in babypac2 without read the special rules...

At this point, what he's doing I would consider spamming or flooding the leaderboards. I would argue for at least a temporary ban just on that ground alone.

saulonpb is the one to ban for spamming and flooding?
Should we talk about PP that has uploaded
60 - repeat - SIXTY shitty replays in 80 minutes, and is still going as I type?
We're tired of both of them! This site has attracted all disgraces and IS a disgrace only because of that stupid "leaderboard"! You know what would be the solution for getting rid of the spam, but in years nobody with the power dared to do it.
As a player that considered MARP the source n°1 for high quality replays, I feel insulted by how these situations are being managed; and "we're humans with real life, we need free time" doesn't work as an excuse anymore, it's been years we're dealing with this crap of the leaderboard and its climbers.

You kidding me? I took back most of what saulonpd took from me.
You believe I had no right?
(Its 68 first places and 2 second)

In fact we're tired of your bleat.
If you don't like leaderboards, then get a site which has no leaderboard.

It's not a novelty: sometimes people get here and, at some point in their
Arcade Professional Career discovers that MAME is so big and vast that the leaderboard can be climbed up by simply submitting tons of "first try" 1st scores.
They don't get any fun from the game, and most of the time they aren't even "getting" how the game works.
Their problem is: a score submitted with little to no practice can be beaten with a few tries by anybody, and this is double true for Arcade games which are specifically made to "insert another coin".
So to speak, their effort is basically identical to a
house of cards without a valid basement.
LB can be improved? Sure, it's already not optimal to consider everything in MAME for an all around leaderboard mind you.
But as a programmer stand-point I fear MARP site doesn't exactly follow modern conventions, so the time spent updating the current structure would rather be best spent in rewriting the whole structure from scratch. Assuming you find somebody willing to do so of course.

No, what a lot of us are tired of is shitty recordings, like getting 110 points on a broken Bomb Jack Twin clone and then uploading it for no other reason than cheap-arse leaderboard points. There's no way that sort of crap in any way shape or form meets Marp rule 2n:
2n) Submit only games that you feel are worthy of the notice of other MARPers, owing either to personal effort, or display of skill.

I already mentioned about saulonpb's entry of "atombjt" in this thread a few days ago.
No one answered or deleted, so I thought its ok, then I uploaded my entry too.
We have discussed this matter a few months ago.
I pointed many entries of broken games, but they still exist in boards.
