I think amount of posts does not solve this problem. because everything we require are different.
I do not mentioned about DEMOCRATY (it is good idea. but not perfect) but about the "MOST FUNDAMENTAL ETHIC."

Why are there so many people against this trick??

3 It makes higher score with ease.

I agree. It seemed very unfair.
so I want 100 times trial by oneself before vote to BAN.
After 100 trials, you will understand this trick is far from invinsible cheat
but SEVERE sliding tecnique.
I played this game 5000-10000 times( I do not know how much), but not enough to master this. failed very often.

But I certain most of people who vote to ban never try it.just prejudice of other replay.
Each vote of these guys has same weight of zillions of effort guy.
it is the big problem of democraty.

I admit actual car cannot do same thing like that.......
but this is game!! at most of games, no one can do it in real world!!!
this reason is completely nonsence I think.
In fact,all outrun series have offroad trick.
I do not know it is intentionally or not. anysome,there is no reason to ban it by logical.

3 It makes higher score with ease.
I admit 52million with this trick is easier than without.
but not things are so easy.
If anyone makes 21million with this trick who can not make more than 20 million without trick,that trick should be recognized as the trick which make higher score easier.
but I certain. no one can do such.
30 million with this trick is much more difficult than without trick.
high-level trick are suchi thing.

My opinion was "BAN" vote should be done by considere well.
they must understand
"How much difficulty"
"It really makes higher score EASIER"
"It really against the spirit of GAME"
Most of people who vote to ban lack these 3 knowledges so I said so many times "not worth to discuss."

The man who understand 1% of them, can not say "cheat" and "bug".
It is the reason why I defined LN2 as "worthless".
So I said try it by yourself. but he did not. very sad.

anysome, I will accept any result of this poll.
if this trick will reject, simply top score will be 49-51million instead of 55-57million.
nothing big change will happen.

I have been playing OTHER games to set scores for. I'm not going to just drop that and play Outrun learning how to do the trick then doing the trick and getting a cheap high score. That's not how I play. It's not me.

If I ran MARP I would ban you from the site and delete all your scores.

I have no interest in playing a game where to set the high score for it I must use some trick to exploit a bug in the game code. I don't care how easy or hard it is to do the trick. It's still cheap way to get a high score. You admit the trick allows you to get higher scores. I don't need to play it myself using the trick just to make you happy. Why do you want me to do that? It makes no sense. I was defending QRS's and others brilliant racing of the game getting scores that are much lower than your "poor" score. "poor" is in quotes cuz you said this yourself. I never called it poor.

I never said you cheated. I clearly stated you are exploiting a bug in the code. Maybe that is a language issue there. It's clear it's best to just not deal with you anymore. I look forward to seeing that Outrun score of yours zeroed out because of how you have treated me in this thread. The vote is quite heavily toward no right now...and likely to stay that way. If my opinion is so worthless then how come as of this writing 21 others have also voted to ban this trick?

Many marpers here know me, I´ve made too many chats with some. Sent e-mails to others... I have many marpers here like friends...

For this I want to tell like a person, a friend. STOP to discussing about OUT RUN.

I `ve saw the trick. Before Hisa upload his inp, I´ve watched the 62 million inp with many friends of mine. Everybody liked his skills to OUT ran on that play...

I have too much respect to BBH, QRS, Hisa Chan, François, Michelle, DaviL and many others excelent players.

But this isn´t a bug. this is a way to DO POINTS. not to race. If Hisa are explaining the game is called OUT RUN, he likes to follow the name and he founds the SECRET POINTS. QRS like to play this game in the regular mode. because is a racer game, right??

PLEASE. STOP to discussing about this game... I respect all points of view and I´ve road ALL POSTS! Please, let´s be nice colleges like the old times. Every player here is important, and do war here is the more sadly thing that could happen. Let Hisa play how he likes... and we are free to choose run out or not. OK, friends?

Not sure how you can say it's not a bug. It's clearly a bug in the code exploited by some to allow max speed off the road. No way can you say the developers wanted you to be able to maintain top speed running through a big corn field or flower field. Yes the bug allows you to "out run" even better and score higher. I think the issue where Hisa keeps mentioning the "spirit of the game" that he really he saying the game was made and even if it has flaws, bugs etc. that is how the game is so in the spirit of the game you play it however the game allows you to play it.

I can definitely understand that point of view. It's not the same thing I'm talking about above where I'm talking about the spirit of the game meaning how it was intended to be played by it's creator. MARP and TG etc. have set special rules for many games because of game flaws or bugs etc. Yes, all of those are against the "spirit of the game" as Hisa terms it. However, almost all of these special rules are so the game has more meaning again and people can play it as intended and have a chance for a high score without having to know about the game bugs or tricks to get even higher scores. Using or not using a trick isn't related to game skill. If Hisa races just as skillfully but without using the trick he won't have anywhere near 53 million. It's just knowledge and using something others don't know about or don't want to use.

Most of my replies are addressing Hisa and his attacks against me..when I was just trying to discuss the game. He doesn't want to discuss the game but instead just attack people and call them stupid and ignorant just because they have a different opinion than he does. That's the only reason this thread got to be so long.

I'm done with it now cuz I have stated all I can possibly state about this game. It had run it's course(pun intended) without you saying let's end it.
