Is a screenshot good enough for a score? This is after all the "Action" Replay site... Should we ban recordings that do not playback or could not be played back by the verifiers? sorry if this question has been asked already. I've just been lurking through here in the last week or so. Are there a group of confirmers? or is it just Zwaxy that does the confirming?

Zwaxy said a while back that a score is acceptable (not necesarily confirmed) if it has a screenshot or if it playsback. I'm arguing that a screenshot even though it may be honest, is just not exiting enough to get points. (i have a flipshot screenshot score
that i'd gladly replay once the game becomes recordable, i'd imagine
others would do the same to keep their points.)

Just got a question on this, are we considering that it has to be
playbackable at the time of submission, or does it have to be
playbackable for all time???

I would say if it played back once and was confirmed by someone in
the know, then it should stand, since it if it could be played back
once it can be played back again with the right .exe, old roms and
platform.

Although, some neogeo win35b13 makes recordings that "sometimes"
playback which means maybe someone might make a recording
that playsback for them and playsback for the confirmers and never
playsback for anyone else. I think the randomness of win35b13
recording is somehowscrewed up, where the playback works but the
randomness of selection of a fighter or other cars will be chosen
differently in the playback than it was chosen in the recording.
