very sweet! so anyone know how to submit a patch to official mame? I think we'd want to associate this to be set by a command line option so officially the game will still start play with a random time seed with no option specified (not to offend the anal retentives in mame team). Also: are there RTC checks for other game types we can add to this patch? i guess a search in the code for "time(" should get localtime() and time() references.

Send source code changes to submit@mame.net (It's mentioned on the downloads page, I think). That e-mal address sends it to Gridle, who then passes it on to the MAMEdev list. Note that changes to CPS-2 and Neo Geo drivers are not mentioned on the official WIP page.
