How does the Fantasy Zone End Bonus work?

Does anyone know exactly how the End Bonus (every 8 rounds) works? I know it has something to do with gold. I believe it's the amount times two and add a 0 on the end.

Example: 300,000 X 2 = 600,000+0 = 6,000,000.

Is that how it works, or does it work in a different way or a random way?

Nevermind, I figured it out (actually, I found it on a Japanese site).

Ships left X 1,000,000
Money X 10
All that added to the original score.

Example:

8 X 1,000,000 +
40,000 X 10 +
300,000 = 8,700,000
