First congrats to Brian who finished the game ...

I was wondering if we could have a "neodrift-like" scoring taking care of times (to avoid ties as actual scores can only be from 1 to 9)

Scoring would be (100000x nb of bonus/check points reached)- time(s) ending each completed course in centiseconds ; for example Brian's score would be (200000-3381)+(300000-9301)+(400000-15164)=872154

Thanks Phil. I think the proposal's a good idea, but I don't believe
times are given for each individual checkpoint (I could be wrong, I
don't pay much attention once I make it there). So, say, someone who
gets to the Professional course and clears two checkpoints before
losing wouldn't really have any indication of how long they took on
that course.

Yes I know Brian : there is no time for intermediate check points, but
it is not very important ... just count 100000 for them that's all ;
for those who don't know, if I call "i" an intermediate check point
and "f" a final check point, the 3 courses are composed by i-f
(novice) + i-i-f (expert) + i-i-i-f (professional) . And scores can be
:
100000
(200000-time1).........I think everybody can finish novice course
(200000-time1)+100000
(200000-time1)+200000
(200000-time1)+(300000-time2)
(200000-time1)+(300000-time2)+100000
(200000-time1)+(300000-time2)+200000
(200000-time1)+(300000-time2)+300000
(200000-time1)+(300000-time2)+(400000-time3)

It even gives a little challenge for those who only manage to finish
the first course
