Team MARP - IGBY 2016 - Game Nominations

Please use this thread to post nominations for games we'd like to include as Team MARP game selections for the IGBY 2016 tournament.

Based on the number of expected teams, each team will probably be able to select 3 games, so we should plan to select 3 games, in priority order, as well as 2 alternates in case there are problems with any of our initial selections.

Here is a list of banned games because they've been in other recent Wolfman tournaments:

We need to turn in our game selections by June 23rd, so I'll let this nominations thread run for one week, then we'll spend one week voting on games to finalize our choices.

For the tournament, players will be allowed to use either WolfMAME .106, the latest WolfMAME version, or RetroUprising, so where practical we're probably better off picking games which are available as far back as in .106 and which don't have any significant changes since .106. Otherwise the game selection might be disallowed.

In my opinion I think we're better off picking slightly newer games instead of early 80's games. The Screenshotties team in particular looks very strong and has a lot of super classic players. So I think picking games from the late 80's or 90's would be to our advantage, in particular shooters, fighters, platformers or beat 'em ups.

I highly agree with Zhorik strategy. Mainly about the fighting and beat'em up games.
As far as I know many players of our team, I think this is our strongest kind of games. And many players of other teams don't like them
By the way, last year, in IGBY2015, we got a Perfect in SF2CE: Top 5 from MARP_Team (Top 6 to be exact)
I suggest that we pick "our" games that we will not spend much time, to focus in the other team games.
