I'm not 100% sure, but I think gunsmokeu has moved to gunsmokeua and gunsmokeu is the actual new clone - can anyone confirm?

No, this is not correct. The new clone is listed correctly as above: gunsmokeua "Gun.Smoke (US, 851115, set 1)"
Renamed (gunsmokeu) to (gunsmokeub) and (gunsmokeua) to (gunsmokeu).

Ah that's what you needed to do!
I cheated and assumed the same location as for 0.164 - and it worked
