Looks like I forgot to delete NVRAM on this one but I'm not sure that would cause the problem you're referring to but I also admit I don't know squat about how all that works. I deleted the NVRAM from my computer and it still plays back for me. Not sure if that means it should work for others but thought I'd throw that out there. Not a big deal if this score gets deleted as it's not really very good. Just enjoy the game so thought I'd post a score as long as I'm playing.

Dick's plays back fine for me without NVRAM. There was an NVRAM file in the directory when I finished playing it back, but I made sure there wasn't one when I started:

Simpsons99's plays back for me too. There was an NVRAM file when I was done, but there shouldn't have been one when I started because I'd never run that ROMset in that version before:

I upped my score for this yesterday

where is it ?
i played it several times on march 26th and got mad as hell , but couldn't get past 55.9k
those red lines are nasty , but like galaxian , staying in the middle of the screen helps.

still not able to get mame139 working right
maybe a virus or perhaps swapping folders from one build (version ) of mame to another too many times
hurt the system , i recently lost my Anthon dual core 1.86ghz main processor , 100 gigabyte hardrive to a nasty embedded bug that was dormant until i tried to install AVG antivirus free trial version 2015
killed it
now i got the old trusty Gateway pentium III 550mhz /320mhz of ram
out of the closet to play most primative arcade games on many mame versions
also get a nice slow mo effect on the nintendo 64 emulator during exciting action modes
in castlevania & Turok dinosaur hunter / Perfect Dark
p.s. iwas able to playback bea's 26k and 37k recordings this morning.
