@Barthax,
yes, you're right: This replay is recorded at 86%
But a question,
are you testing all the unconfirmed replays?
Regards.

I hope to test them all but Real Life will likely knock that plan at some point. My current strategy is as follows:PeterPunk wrote:@Barthax,

Click the upload link, enabled unconfirmed scores only and work backwards. I'm back to April 2014 currently (ignoring new submissions of Nov+). While I haven't done this for all Oct-~Jun recordings, I now follow the link to the game set (CTRL+click the picture for a new tab) and enable that to unconfirmed. Cycle through all unconfirmed for that set. You can see the pattern at the bottom of the confirms page.
Reasons for having skipped over a recording:
- incorrect ROM (current "set" is laid out as 0.155)
- the game is NSFW/C
- an unusual MAME is used:
- Mac - have access to a Mac but can only access via remote: game play doesn't do nice over the connection! Sorry Rick, they'll have to wait some more.
- XMAME - can't get the old stuff to compile on modern Linux. Sorry Dave, they'll have to wait some more.
- FastMAME or other unusuals - have a few but not the early ones
- occasionally a MAME32 I don't have where required to be sure
- DOS - still a problem with an occasional game: I have an XP VM, DOS Box and a '98 VM but the '98 VM is unstable. DOS VMs are just too slow in Virtual Box to be useful (besides the problem of getting the INP into the VM in the first place).
- it takes concentration to be certain of score (point difference games, no saved score, counting rollovers like Asteroids, etc.).

@Barthax,
what a hard work!!!
but a very good initiative (and apparently good planned)
Probably you would save time if the admin gives you permissions for editing the scores.
Regards.
PS: Sorry for my english.

DQ'd.

Great minds think alike: I was promoted just before my previous comment. My first edit.PeterPunk wrote:Probably you would save time if the admin gives you permissions for editing the scores.

No apology needed: your English is better than most English people.PeterPunk wrote:PS: Sorry for my english.

90% for regulation play, 95% usually for tournaments.
