Here we are at the final turn: Pac-Mania, by Namco, year 1987.
To quote a famous film, this is the game in which the old ways have joined the new. Very nice Pac-Man sequel, bigger mazes and more ghosts. Now you can jump them, but soon they'll jump too.
It starts quite easy, but soon it becomes extremely aggressive. I wondered how many stages let you play, because a TimeTrial should have easy targets; on the other side I risked to see too many secure patterns from day 0. So I found a compromise in six stages: the target is to complete blue Jungly Steps (it resembles to a blue staircase on the rooftop). It's not too far, and those nice ghosts have already started to seriously jump.
Start from the first stage, Block Town (the multicolor LEGO stage)! When you'll first see the green staircase stage your TimeTrial work will be over.
Just like the first turn: Wolfmame 150 and default settings. The goal in this tournament is the sixth stage completed (blue Jungly Steps). I'll count frames from the first stage start to the last completed stage ("Round Cleared" message). It's not mandatory to reach the goal to submit, I'll keep any inp that have at least the first stage completed.
Round Duration: Sunday November 24th, 00:00:00 GMT - Saturday November 30th, 23:59:59 GMT
TIME REMAINING
Here are the resources:
This is a vertical screen game, and some people (like me) usually turn their laptop on its side to play fullscreen. If you are going to do this, take the second batch pack.
Wolfmame 150 - Batch files for this game (horizontal screen), (vertical screen)
There are 3 batch files inside each zip:
Play.bat (normal play without recording, you can train with pause or savestates)
Record.bat (to record a new inp, keeps backup of the previous recording)
Replay.bat (to see the last recorded inp)
It's maze time!
