I'm sorry for my bad english! I suppose that is the problem.

What is the problem with the third rule? A same player can get the three extra points.

Imagine two players A and B are the only players in this round
When the player A starts the third floor in the second loop he has to write down his score, for example 150000 points.
When the player B starts the third floor in the second loop he has to write down his score, for example 100000 points.

When A finish the game, his score is 1000000.
When B finish the game, his score is 900000.
Player A has beaten the record marp and my record, 25 extra points for him.
Player B has beaten my record and the start the third floor in the second loop had fewer points, 25 extra points.

I try to avoid leeching twice.

I love this game but don't like playing on the keyboard. Both my joypads have given up on me and need a usb upgrade kit for my x arcade. My highest on this title is 380k but could only manage 130k tonight with the dodgy joypad, I will keep playing nontheless.

To get bonus 1 & 2 (respectively scores 900k+ & 400k+ needed to get 15+10=25pts bonus) leeching is encouraged.
To get bonus 3 you will get bad score and so bad ranking.
So nobody will try to get bonus 3 (you get 10 pts, so what ? you can't get other points)

Can you kill more enemies quicker for more points as they appear quicker in hard settings?

hmmm,
maybe. but you sacrifice 200,000 points (in my case) on the first dragon. the harder settings starts on the 2nd dragon.
harder is just harder!!!!!
my score on the harder settings is at least 200,000 points less than the easy settings, so it works out even...
