thinking back....
phoenix was only available in an arcade in a converted corner shop called "the black hole", which i thought was really cool. all the walls were painted black and it had all the latest games and a pool table, which i never played on!! . were talking 1979/1980, so it was galaxian and moon cresta times!! the trouble was, i was young and it was full of teenagers who bullied and robbed you, so i never really played it. i think this is a very hard game, as the bird stages are totally unpredictable, even if you know their patterns. and even when i use my shield, i die. whats that all about? this is one of the hardest, i believe...
