According to the prophecy, "the Knockout champion will be the player who knockouts TRB_MetroidTeam"
I played K5, K6 and K8. I lost to The_Pro in K5 and he was the champion! I lost to BBH in K6 and he was 1st! The same guy in K8! Period.
Well, sincerely, it's not a good idea due to 2 reasons: everyone will try hard to beat me in next editions and I will never be able to be the champion

Hey guys the time I get on the first rally I choose are always wayyyyyyyy better than if I chose that rally 2nd 3rd or 4th

For example I always get scratch on the first 2 stages of whatever rally I choose first, but I get like 3-5 seconds slower than scratch if I choose a different rally first

what's happening


also how does gear work

It better not have anything to do with sound since I don't have sound

Does the game make you change gears for no reason because like there's no visual display for gear so I can't see wtf is happening

can we change it to 1 inp on each course if it turns out that i can't compete from lack of sound or whatever's going on?

0.125u2: Mirko Mattioli added World Rally wheel support. When optical wheel is selected (via dipswitch), then gear shift (low/high) is enabled.

When optical wheel is selected (via dipswitch), then gear shift (low/high) is enabled.
On the real PCB the optical wheel encoder is connected to 74LS169 ICs (@A16 and @A17)
via a flip-flop IC mounted in the steering wheel assembly. As a result, the output
of the flip-flop generates a signal that contains the information about the steering
direction; this signal is routed to pin #1 (U/D) at ICs A16 and A17 (high when turn
left and low when turn right). The second signal of the optical encoder goes directly
to pin #2 (CLK) at ICs A16 and A17 and it is a clock for the 74LS169 ICs; this clock
frequency is proportional to the movements of the steering wheel: fast movements
produces a high clock frequency, slow movements a low freq.

I seriously wonder about the lack of car performance though, I just hope that Gaelco didn't cheated on us and there's really a secret on this game ...

I should be ok, I thought I was at a disadvantage from the way the game mechanics were implemented. Apparently there's no disadvantage though, it just looks like your car gets worse as you clear stages.
