Rules error on 'rackemup' and clones?

Post by Q. T. Quazar »

I believe the original rules for these games was the rack *reached* + percentage, not racks 'completed' + percentage. this was mainly because this was how the high score board scored the game (in-game), and we could also easily check that we'd counted right from the high score table, simply transposing the two numbers.

if i'm not mistaken, most of the confirmed .inps follow these rules.

No, this is 100xstages COMPLETED.
If not, that means you get 100 by just inserting a coin : not logical.
For example, WRX2 on thehustlej applied the good rule (see my comment).
If some players calculate it wrong, then it needs an edit

I've checked the top3 for all (rackemup+2 clones), only Ocean View was calculating wrong.
I let you check other inputs if you want (including yours, I didn't check if you calculated correctly in the past)

yeah, considered that--balancing the instant 100pts against that annoyance of putting in a score different from the high score table. it's not really a big deal--either way something is awkward.

that's fine, the older ones will need to be changed then. i'll sweep all the scores later.
