K8?

Just wanted to check in with our K8 Coordinators (destructor, Pat Laffaye, and tbd) to see how K8 planning was going and make sure a 2009 MARP Championship was still coming this year. I'm very much hoping so since I ended up not playing last year!

I'd like see news about K8. As well as I'd like see news about "K8-2years=K6(SIX)" prizes...

I hope in some substitute of Destructor... and start this K8 at least in November

Nothing? I have some ideas for a Fast Knockout... starting very soon and finishing before December 25th. Is it good???
PS.1: Would be nice to have at least 32 players. If possible, everyone helps on inviting/divulgation???
PS.2: Considering Des "unreachable", and I think PL is ok, I suggest a 3rd referee to discuss some starting details (maybe Zhorik that resigned last year, or other).
PS.3: If others interested, I would be glad to repass the rules/formats I planned, to other guys run it instead of me.

I'm very busy with work these days, but I'd be willing to help out with coordination of K8 as long as somebody else was the primary driver. I think it would be a shame if there was no knockout this year.
