Re: YouTube Classics....
Forgot about this one. For the die-hard pop fans. Although a cheesy video, the song is ultimately hum-a-longy (?)

Ok ok..I know Elton John isn't everyone's cup of tea, but this is a brilliant song. The song is named after one of Elton John's crew, Guy Burchitt, who died suddenly in a road traffic accident, and I always remember the genuine sadness of John, when performing this. It also brings back memories good and bad of all things 1978.....

Linkin Park's "Lying From You" is definitely not everyone's cup of tea, but regardless, most everyone HERE should enjoy this video!

So much for Dustin. Robbed by the Eurovision 'purists'.
The country is in a state of shock and despair.

Looks to me like the Irish selection comittee had drunk WAY too much of that un-drinkable black crap (or worse ..Fosters) to select that damm turkey.
Cheers

Here are two very loosely videogame related songs, can anyone figure out the connections?
Beautiful and talented Carola. God bless her soul:

Re: YouTube Classics....
Hmmm...the second one from Israel has the obvious reference to Atari at the beginning. I'm not so sure where Carola's song fits in. Best I can make out is that the lyrics have something to do with chess? Help! The TJT wrote:Here are two very loosely videogame related songs, can anyone figure out the connections?

Hahah. Damn, didn't notice it was actually typed in the video.JoustGod wrote: Hmmm...the second one from Israel has the obvious reference to Atari at the beginning.
Yeah, Gali Atari and Milk & Honey performing their hit song Hallelujah. Hallelujah to that.
The lyrics tell something about forbidden games where she is in love with a man with another woman...but nope, it's not about lyrics or visuals.I'm not so sure where Carola's song fits in. Best I can make out is that the lyrics have something to do with chess? Help!
...This tune is actually used in a classic shmup. One of my favourite tunes and shmups as well!

Cool. That's the first time I've seen the connection between Phoenix and an actual song. Good job, Tommi. The TJT wrote:Hahah. Damn, didn't notice it was actually typed in the video.JoustGod wrote: Hmmm...the second one from Israel has the obvious reference to Atari at the beginning.
