No sawys.
Example:
sawys win 1 battle with score on screen = 10 seconds
destructor win 1 battle too with score on screen = 100 seconds (90 seconds faster)

Then:
1. Current rules 1000 + (120 - time_left):
sawys score = 1000 + (120 - 10) = 1110
destructor score = 1000 + (120 - 100) = 1020
Sawys won? Destructor was faster!

2. Rule 1000 + time_left
sawys score = 1000 + 10 = 1010
destructor score = 1000 + 100 = 1100
Now is ok.

We must add to 1000 time left (time which is on screen) not time spend.

Too many race-games sawys where time is increased :D In bomber man time is decreased ;)

Wow !

I realized now that all this discussion makes me big errors in my 1st idea

And as you say, time is decrease and even if i noticed that and tried to find a way to calculate i made an awful mistake.

And i wonder why because i made those calculations. When is see my paper, i see that i made it only with my 1st proposition :oops:

Sorry for TJT, but it seems that destructor is right :!:

Exact for the races games i played :lol:

Yes, looks like Des has a point there, Sawys does like racing games! :)

Edited rulez again for bbmanw-vs and bbmanwj-vs

How about bombrman-vs, neobombe-vs and atompunk-vs...Same rule is good for those too??

(bbmanw-vs,bbmanwj-vs,bombrman-vs,neobombe-vs,atompunk-vs)

Players can edit their scores, we'll see who will come on top

All scores fixed with new scoring.
This includes:

bombrman-vs
dynablst-vs (parent)
dynablsb-vs
atompunk-vs

bbmanw-vs (parent)
bbmanwj-vs
bomblord-vs
newapunk-vs

NOTES :
1- bomblord is also working now (since Mame 125u5)
2- atompunk requires Mame 0.96 or later, as old "atompunk" in previous versions has been renamed "newapunk" in Mame 0.96

Concerning neobombe-vs, I'm a little more dubitative : I've watched Des replay, game completed is very long, it would be a pain for players and also for confirmers to note/check times and calculate. Plus it is not as easy as dynablst/bbmanw to see (with fast replay F10) what times hasn't to be counted because of life lost.

To recapitulate, I let scoring as it is for this one (nb of wins), but if someone want to do the job, let us know
