From Shumps forum
Nozo (in japanese is "secret" or "mistery") is option item when you have already option item. Nozo is the same of golden star bonus.
EDIT: Ooops, 1 minute late ;) , mahlemiut was faster

I have to say that I am absolutely in awe by the skill of some players in this tournament. Absolutely fantastic! Well done, I am enjoying every minute of it.

Congrats to EsseKappa for achieving Mission Impossible I on viewpoint. Although, there is a small error from Gemant's scoring system. I see that Mission Impossible I has wrong scoring system than All target achieved. MI 1 = 825 vs All targets = 975 points. The big difference is the golden stars is 19. Target D is over 20 stars with 175 points. Essekappa got 23 stars.

Essekappa,

Drop Impossible Mission I and add all the targets that you achieve, A+C+D+E+F for 975 points UNLESS if Gemant fix the IM I scoring system. :)

I managed to get an extra Nazo on stage 1 (apart from stage 3) but not in a robust way. Ghemant seems to know a robust way to get them but I can't see how it can be easy (without autofire).

you can obtain some Nazo with normal shot (not autofire), in other cases you can take them with H bomb only or with F bomb only.

About score of MI1 I'll answer tomorrow :)

Huh? essekappa didn't get Target C in his recording. The target bonus adds up to 825 points either way, so there isn't really a problem here.

BBH is right that Essekappa didn't get Target C as I thought he did. Sorry about that. :|

Maybe it's me, but I find coding emulators much more rewarding at times... :)
So I fixed Viewpoint graphics in MESS.

...just have to fix the joystick controls on the title screen now... ;)

Just commited it to the MESS SVN. Go have a try if you are interested (you probably aren't ;))

Some of us are 8)
Looks like another faithful port, very nice!

To Ghemant:
About my last recording, I am not sure about achieving target C because I didn't get the Nazo on stage 3. Please check that, thanks!!!
