can't get this one to playback, might that there is a rom dump need of pr1data.8k and i don't have the same. Mine incidentally is filled with 0xffffffff words. and the crc is this

524288 2e5767a4 pr1data.8k

Original recorder here (again, heh).

Is there any place that it gets stuck or crashes? Or does it just refuse to play at all? FWIW, I replayed it through the 1st inning and it played fine for me.

you don't get a run in the first inning, and the bottom of the first the cpu makes you forfeit with a 10-0 score, so i'm assuming it goes out of sync pretty quickly. hey wait, you tried to play it back and didn't play back the whole thing only the first inning? :) Do you know about the F10 key that makes playbacks go faster, and after hitting F10 and hitting F9 a few times to get the frameskip to 10 while playing back it playsback even faster?

I would like to know if the whole game plays back ok for you. (And if anyone else can try too, that would be great.)

No more luck here.
I probably get a quick desync, as you're defaeated by cpu 0-11.

Pat, if you're around here, this game also need a -vs split

...and therein lies the problem. After playing back my replay using the F9/F10 method (which I did know about, I was just being lazy before :p), I noticed that I struck out 3 times in a row, which I most definitely did not do in my original replay. I exited, and then went back and replayed the .inp with fs -0, and then in in my replay, I got on base, had a longer first inning, etc. So I guess fast-forwarding the replay causes it to de-sync.

See Excerpt from Rule 3.
It is therefore a player's responsibility to double-check their recordings to ensure that they playback properly

Please try playing it back ALL the way to the end next time before uploading. I was hoping this worked when unthrotled (no F10, but unfortunatley I get the same results, just tried it with out F10 and it goes out of sync at the top of the third when you are at bat and you are down 0-1. This game may have major playbackability issues.

thanks very much for understanding, it was my bad saying it goes out of sync in the first inning, when i was uinsg F10 it went out of sync so quickly i thought it was in the first inning, but it probably did so later like when i played it back with out F10. shoot, i think there are other sws's that do playback ok.

I think this one playbacks ok, if you record with -noafs and playback also keeping fs to 0.
See my upload for testing (at least it pb ok 4me)
