Gameboy9 is a tournament coordinator and thus is not eligible for the leaderboard.LN2 wrote:gameboy9 submitted an excellent run...
please add "K6" to the description though so it appears on the K6 leaderboard and so the ref sees it as well.
Got it.dbh wrote:Sawys, there's a typo on my score listed in this thread. As much as I would like to have scored 56K+, my current real score was 46,970. Oddly enough, my position in the list is currently correct
Thank you. But Deadful Melody is right - I'm a coordinator and therefore can't rank in.LN2 wrote:gameboy9 submitted an excellent run...

As a long time fan of Pole Position, I can tell you that based on what I read in GamePro's review of Namco Museum Vol. 3, their protip for the game pretty much matches my advice, in that you don't need the brakes. Instead, simply use high and low gear to slow down around turns, and/or let off the accelerator.BBH wrote:is there any point in even having a brake button without analog control? I tapped it once and couldn't get back up to full speed again. Maybe because it thought the pedal was partially pressed down or something. I've just disabled the button entirely since letting go of the accelerator provides a pretty big speed drop in the first place.
