The romset was different at the time those recordings were made. Sorry to say that the only way to play it back now is to find the older romset that it was recorded with.

You really think you would be able to beat my score? How much have you played the game?
Your *ss is mine :D
Just tell me where is that romset(pm)

No seriously, how much have you played the game exactly?

And honestly, I don't know where to find the older romset either at this point, and I don't feel like digging through old CDR backups. Use the power of Google and hope you can find an outdated rom site or something.

actually tell you what, since I'm such a nice guy (at times), I'll link you to an inp I recorded a while back that was recorded with the newer romset:

http://bbh.marpirc.net/bbh_shocktro_34123300_wolf83.zip

It's a few million smaller than the MARP record so it's not all that great by my standards. Try to beat that first. Good luck!

ok ok I know sounds funny. I want make clear that I m serious. I do know this game and I was really ready to play it before I read BBH. Its true.
I played this game some years ago, continuously for some months, I liked to kill soldiers with the knife and get the diamonds. I cant remember exact score, I only remember that it was too difficult to finish it with one credit.
BBH, if it is to make a comperition unter equal conditions its absolutely necessary to check that score of yours of 37.768.300...because if u used another version, maybe an easier one, it wont be fair for me :!:

Where is the mame to play that .inp in your link?

Well, do note that there are two versions of the game in MAME - one where each team member gets their own individual lifebar, and one where all three team members share one lifebar (but take half damage). I don't know which version you played in the arcade, or which version you think would be easier, but I'm quite capable of getting the same level of scores on either version.

But... how do you expect to beat my score if you never finished the game on one credit?

The answer is too-too simple.
I just want the version u did that score

a. Lets first see that score
b. When I said I never finished at one credit?
c. If I m talking for a more difficult version that the one u did your score, u wont be able to finish it too.

37,768,300 (and the inp I linked above) was done on the version in which all three characters share one lifebar.
37,669,300 was done on the version in which each character gets their own lifebar (and this is the version I ALWAYS saw in arcades here)

So difficult you think I wouldn't be able to finish it? Thanks for the vote of confidence! There are only two versions in MAME, and I highly doubt the existence of some third romset that's harder. If you really think there is a version of the game that isn't in MAME, I honestly would like to hear about it. Play both versions in MAME for a bit, and if you still think there was some "other" version of the game that you played that was harder, please explain in detail what was harder about it. I like to think I'm pretty familiar with this game in general.

Sorry, that's what you seemed to imply from it.

What? I gave you a link to a 34 million recording and a link to WolfMAME 0.83. If you're referring to the 37 million recordings, you'll have to find the old romset yourself, and download 0.37 Beta 15 from MAME's old version page.

I checked with 2 rom version, no one works. Seems u made that score with a special romset, so just tell me where is this romset.

I hope I wont have to repeat it again

This romset version is hard to find. Try to watch this 34mln replay. It is very boring :D

The romset has been unchanged in MAME since 0.79u2! I just double-checked and the romset I have audits correctly with both 0.83 and 0.117. If it's not working for you, it's a problem on your end, not mine.
I hope I wont have to repeat it again
Or else what?

Or else I wont bother again. U cant have an honest competition unter not equal contitions.
If u know where is the romset in which u made that score, u tell me in pm. If not then we cant have competition. Because probably u made your score with an easy rom version.

PS. I cant either play the one with mame83..Can any1 else play it?

Rom version is the same - main romset, not clone. You must learn some things about MAME/romsets first before you play and discuss.

Maaaaan, use wolf83, not mame83.
