It's basically, Chinese poker, but with more 'cards' and combos; more odds based play, and there are strategies, but it's still betting game.

True, some don't require a bet, but they are all odds based and non-competitive. Basically, any game played in a casino is a gambling game, which is about the only place it's played commonly. Poker with extra cards is still poker.

I see what you mean...that's a lot of clones on those racing games!

I've never seen a gambling game with a high score table before...

Hmm...I think most of them do have a pts scoring system, as that's how payout is determined at the bars/casinos...as for tables for top players, not any are coming to mind, though some surely do. Some of the poker scores are defined on the cabinet only. However, if they made as many poker/card game variations as there are for mahjong, I'm sure some would. Many of the mahjong's don't have highscore tables.
I enjoy playing certain pc mahjong games, but not many of the arcade versions(too many keyboard only games with no indications which keys do what). I also like card games(free cell) on the pc...they are for relaxing/mind numbing, not competition.
Anyone enjoy any of the 'windows' games?

Why not? Because you are weak in these games?

Because they seem very far from the concept of arcade game, but this is my opinion.
Don't you think there is something strange in leaderboard ?
I don't want a flame, only to know your opinion about

Your argument is weak ... I think it's possible to debate avoiding personal attacks, ok?

Card/board games are not really videogames, even though they are played on a computer.
For most part/all you don't need hand-eye coordination, timing or reflexes. I guess you can use a sort of pattern recognizion in some of them, but even that is very different from let's say Tron, Pacman, Phoenix etc.
