Reminds me of the days we used to have competitions seeing who could tap the = button on a pocket calculator the most times in a minute. 1 + + ========.....

The trick is to tense your whole arm up and let your finger shake up and down on the button thus tapping it very fast. At shooters when you need the extra fast firepower, alternate this method with the 2 finger technique, when you tire of one method use the other :).

Sometime in games where you need short bursts of really rapid fire I tighten the musscles in my upper forarm right below my elbow, this causes your whole arm to shake quickly and allows you to fire even faster that autofire sometimes.

Anyone else do this???

I back to this problem when 2 Olympiad games were selected :D

I know now how to fast shoot using method with one button and 2 fingers alternating.

I watched (again) Novice replays Star Force and Wonder Boy 3, and I remember that Novice use Hori controller, but don't know which model.

Can you give more info about your controller Novice? (photo especially)

I ask because I think that on Sanwa or Seimitsu buttons is possible faster shooting than on keyboard or standard arcade buttons (use one button and 2 fingers alternating otherwise).
