First of all, very impressive recording.



Second of all, some clerical errors were made in tallying the score. Below is the .txt file he attached, except slightly altered. His advertised scores are starred, followed by the actual score I saw playback in parenthesis.



Quote The rules are you start with 3900 units. The time is set to 4 units per second. You get 5000 points for each race you qualify on. You also subtract the 3rd place time from your time and multiply that by 100 for additional points. You then total your score. forgive us if we thought you were a spammer, but I have to say Thank you! Your time is much apprieciated! i just verified your accounting of timed scores and i get the same. However your math is a little off on the third place scores. I get:

I also would like to mention that levels starting from the teens till the final level looks very much the same; so i really think that a level limit on this game is a much better way to score than a time limit. And how about nuking the third place score calculation addition all together?

I think you have to place in the top 3 in a race to advance. If you don't place that high, you lose a man (if you have any extras). I do not care how you score the game, however the current method is way too complicated to calculate.

The game layout repeats after level 7. There are some variations in how the bikes react. The time to qualify also keeps getting lower and lower until it eventually levels out. It does take some skill to marathon the game, so scoring only the first few levels would be a bad idea imho.

FYI, it is 3900 units at 1 unit per 4 seconds....essentially max the system allows.

this gives you a 3900*4 = 15600 seconds of play time.

roughly 4 hours, 20 minutes of play. if I counted the above corretly, he played 49 races?

oh, I figured the (10276) was a mistype for 102.76 for a race.

why are 2 of them in ()?

those were the corrections to the advertised scores XXX* is the advertised time (XXX) is the correctplayback time. I'm going to edit this score since i believe more now the scores that stabyou and me are right.
