Steve Harris got more than one M on Popeye, but in the 80's.
It's unbelievable and I'm looking for info about the record.
It was done on revision D or F or other (bootleg with many lifes?) ? Mark Alpiger told me perhaps Walter Day has some info: I can'tregister on TG and I can't send a PM to Walter.
May be someone can tell me the e - mail address of Walter Day.
I wuold be very glad also if someone has info about Steve Harris score or other scores from 400 K and more.
Thanks
Unfortunatly, Perry doesn't have MAME. I can't say I'm really in regular contact with him either but I'll ask next time I am. I only saw him play to around 230K but the way he lead around Bluto you could tell that someone could do very well in this game with enough practice. When he got caught it was always because of mistakes, but when he stuck to the plan he had no problems.
On the first level for example he was always going around the level clockwise and Bluto could never catch up. Down the stairs on the right, grabbing the hearts on the bottom, back up the left and using the thru tunnel. Rinse and repeat. There's a bit more to it than that but that was the basic idea. Second level was more thru tunnel abuse. On the third he was almost always on top except for a few missed letters.
