Two little tasks for Pat Laffaye

Post by Phil Lamat »

1-we have in database two "goldstar" (one is *ed).
So or you un* goldstar, or you move recet barry's inp to archive :
http://marp.retrogames.com/index.cgi?mo ... xlines=999

2-usg182 needs split (and maybe partial archive for several games)

and while he's at it, there's about 20-30 new 'card' games that meet the * criteria. I thought all those usg trivia/bet/bs games were to be *'ed.

Not sure which card games you're talking about... The list from October was archived. There has been NO discussion or poll to remove others. As far as the usg games, the only ones missed were...

*usg185-01 "Games V18.7C [Draw Poker]"
*usg185-02 "Games V18.7C [Seven Card Stud]"
*usg252-01 "Games V25.4X [Draw Poker]"

I'm also archiving:
*cluckypo "Lucky Poker (Cassette)"
*ddp2 "Bee Storm - DoDonPachi II"
*meosism "Meosis Magic (Japan)"
*pontoon "Pontoon"

I thought those 'dutch' card games were gambling; but haven't played...and a couple others here and there...I try em and see; just kinda went off the screen shot and figured card game=gamble. I could be remembering games from the other thread before they were *'ed. No hurry.

One more thing, Pat :
shngmtkb has to be split in :
shngmtkb-bg (blue game)
shngmtkb-gg (green game)
shngmtkb-rg (red game)

All current inputs has been made on blue game ;
the two other games are VERY different, I had never seen them before :
rg is shanghai vs cpu
gg is a "spatial" shanghai

Other one.
I've just realised why "shanhigw" has long name Great Wall - Shanghai Triple Threat : there are 3 different games in it !

shanhigw-cs (classic shanghai)
shanhigw-gw (great wall)
shanhigw-bj (beijing)

All inputs are made on "cs" ;
I've tried the 2 others :
"gw" is cool and original(don't remeber anything like that before)
"bj" is a little like hasamu, but much more harder ; I can't pass stage 1 for the moment !

Another task for you, Pat :
all scores for "thepit" has to be moved to "thepitc"
http://marp.retrogames.com/index.cgi?mo ... xlines=999

From MAWS :
0.104: Added The Pit (Taito 1982). Rename (thepit) to (thepitc).
