5 special bonus points for Gavin Ward to be the first to finish the game.
And 1st bonus point for Ace13 (leader after 2 days) :
http://marp.retrogames.com/inp/3/6/5/cj ... olf103.zip
But his inp shows that points can be leeched after 3rd boss's death (boss stages are the only stages without timer).
So I add a new rule avalaible from now : I will substract all points scored after 3rd boss's death and before leaving the stage.
Rule non retroactive, so Ace13 keeps his 1 bonus point.

Yes, I see :
http://marp.retrogames.com/inp/6/a/9/cj ... olf103.zip
So I'm forced to change the rule again (the previous one is cancelled) : the spirit is to finish the game as fast as possible, we gonna make sort of time trial.
FOR A FINISHED GAME :
I gonna have a look at number of frames when the "Congratulations" screen appears at the end of the game.
Don't bother with last three digits, only take the 3 first and add "000".
Bonus to add for a finished game :
1000x(200000 - frames)
Examples:
http://marp.retrogames.com/inp/6/a/9/cj ... olf103.zip
Frames at congratulations screen = 115000+
Bonus = 85000x1000=85000000
Final score=85409910
http://marp.retrogames.com/inp/3/b/3/ga ... olf103.zip
Frames at congratulations screen = 104000+
Bonus = 96000x1000=96000000
Final score=96360300
Note:
if your regulation score is higher than the inp you want to upload for WCC, you can upload there

One suggestion Phil. Will be good if in first post in topic you add link to scoreboard (as Weehawk did it in GEGOTW topics).

Week 1 is quite finished, and I send a mail to Tommi :

Tommi's answer:
Yes, I think it would be best to keep wcc scoring, assumably scores are
better that way. +No leeching issues.
Maybe you can make a conversation about this at regulation forum, and I'll ask people to vote in the same thread.
------------
So I ask there for all opinions ;
it's a particular special scoring we never use before, but it works to prevent leeching, at least on this game.
Could be extend maybe to other games involving leeching stuff ???

I'd say no, it's not the only game with leeching issues. It has it's own scoring system. Sure, it sucks, but it is what it is. Save the fake scoring for games that don't have any scoring.
Just ban the technique like we've always done. Makes confirming it easier.

To be frank, I tend to think like Barry, I was just asking ; maybe some people could find the idea interesting
For tangtang, it's hard ; all finished inp are around 350k, but someone could leech during 5-10s with the 2nd method used by Ace, it's quite invisible and can bring 5000 pts more for 1st place.mahlemiut wrote: Just ban the technique like we've always done.
