Bonze Adventure

Post by DaviL »

I watch the inps on marp and there is a thing very strange:
if you play with an old mame version (like inps) you have much more time then with a new version! At the end of every stage you have a good bonus point with time remaining. With new version you have much less bonus!
I think is not a problem of old version but with the newest version of mame (later then 0.60 at least, I try mame 0.70 and have the same few time).
Any ideas ?

Code: Select all

WIP:

    * 0.57: Stefan Jokisch and Ruben Panossian improved C-Chip simulation in Bonze Adventure
As you can see there was a change in emulation at MAME 0,57.

I wonder if dip switches were changed too? Would be easy to make special rule to allow old settings.
If it's only a change in emulation, we have slight problem: You can not beat old scores using new, correct emulation...and all current MARP scores are played before 0.57... Uhhh... I guess correct answer would be just to zero all recordings before 0.57 then, huh.

Would be nice to know the real arcade game time setting.
For me is too low the time you have in the last realise, and too much in the old!
However is impossible beat old record if you don't finish the game (and the last boss is VERY HARD), but don't know if it is a good idea zero old score until we don't know what the real arcade time settings is!
Blah!
