Sure would be a pain to toggle that every time I recorded.
A recording useing a cheat would never play back correctly, would it? The cheats aren't recorded are they?
And the recording plays back fine here.

Only advantage of using -cheat in inps is to enable extra inputs or DIP switches. I'm not even sure if MAME supports those anymore either. Certainly any cheat that alters RAM or ROM data would have to be enabled for playback too.

played back ok for me too but the aiming strategy seems abnormal, why doesn't the cursor move before aiming?
